Motivating Monday #7

August 13, 2012
What's better to start a week than some motivating things? A fancy dress, some nice stationery or some pretty pictures. Motivating Monday is a weekly column filled with things I'm loving at the moment.

Motivating etsy shop:
This is long overdue but Nick and I (okay, that's a lie, I) decided to give gifts to each other for our anniversary. I ordered him a bracelet from this etsy shop, with a line that has played a certain role in our relationship and the date we got together. I was very happy with how things got handled and it arrived really fast. You can see the bracelet below and you have to check out Wyoming Creative. (Oh and that's Nick's hand.)

Motivating clothes:
I've been longing for fall, really. I can't wait to layer, to wear cozy scarfs and a coat and to be able to wear tights. And knee-socks. I've been making myself a new pinterest board to 'define' my style for fall. That way, I can see what I like and what I might need. The following hasn't appeared much, but I'm attracted to beautiful blouses. I can see them tucked in, in a flowy skirt with some coloured tights and a beautiful necklace.

Motivating drink:
I'm really motivated to live healthier. Even though I still have to force myself, I'm trying to make a habit out of eating less junkfood and more healthy food and working out. I'm always satisfied when I had a 'good day' which means working out and eating/drinking healthy. This was my (beautiful) drink the other day. I admit, I just bought it for the packaging but it didn't taste so bad either.

Motivating website:
This is a funny little site that lets you create your own uhm, space thingies. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I just play around with it a bit and the outcome can be pretty surprising. Check it out here.

Motivating song:
Some relaxing music (okay, the lyrics don't really sound relaxing but I like to listen to this).

  2. Such a sweet anniversary gift!

I love tea, especially green tea!

I tried that cool looking website, but it wouldn't work on my computer. I'm gonna have to see if I can get it to work when I get home.

Hope you had a great weekend! :)

Fall is definitely my favorite time of year, but unfortunately we are moving somewhere really hot, and I won't get much of a fall this year :( I'll layer as much as I can though and I'll watch all the great fall trends everywhere online including here!
