As you all probably know by now, I'm attending university and I have very irregular hours. Because of that, we decided it was best to live in a dorm parttime. Since the schoolyear already started, there wasn't much choice anymore. So we had to take what we could get. But, lesson learned: I'll definitely start looking sooner next time. Ofcourse, I did try to make the best out of it and here are some shots of how it was before and what we made of it. (Unfortunately, we couldn't paint the walls so we had to work around that.)
Also, I'd like to thank my parents for everything ofcourse. They pay for all of this, I got tons of new stuff (all from ikea because ikea is awesome) and they support me so much. Everytime I came home over the last couple of weeks I had to cry because honestly, it was all so overwhelming and they comforted me everytime. Same goes for my boyfriend, he's been wonderful. And I enjoy it so much everytime someone comes to visit me like my grandparents. Thank you all for your love and support.

| Some details, haha. I got the trash bin from my boyfriend together with the little plant you can see in the first picture. It's supposed to bring luck in new places. |
 |
| My tiny kitchen with some plants and two lovely prints. (I got these from a giveaway over at Much Love, Illy). I have a sink, some cabinets, a fridge and a little freezer. |
 |
| And last but not least, my bed with Audrey above. |
P.S.: I know I haven't been around much, I've been dealing with the worst headaches this past week (all the time, ugh) and I have a test coming up on Friday so I'm kind of busy. Don't worry though, I'm still here, still reading all of your blogs and still trying to handle mine, haha.
Great job with your dorm. Mine never looked this good!

DeleteYou have a dorm room all to yourself? LUCKY. I had to share and it was such a mistake. I love how you spiced up the place - it looks really nice. (:
ReplyDeletexo, Adriana.
I don't think there could fit two beds in there haha... I definitely couldn't share one, that's for sure :) And thank you! xo
DeleteOh Dorien, you've done such a lovely job!! I adore your lovely little plants and of course your Audrey picture, as I think I mentioned earlier. =) I might just go watch Breakfast at Tiffany's tonight as I catch up on things for the shop/blog!!
ReplyDeleteAlso in love with the beautiful white photo frame. I am such a sucker for ornate frames but can never seem to find any at reasonable prices...
Hope your head feels better soon. Headaches are the worst. <3
I found this frame (and the two black frames on top of my kitchen) for only $2 haha, awesome right. We have a shop here called "action" and it has the most amazing deals! Thank you so much :) xo
