I finally did it! I got inked yesterday and I'm so freaking excited. We're only half there but I already like it so much. The artist did such a nice job. So I'm here to tell you all about it.
What? My pretty cat in a frame. Next time, he's going to colour the frame, finish the background and make my kitty lighter and add a pink tone.
Who? I got it done by Ienjas from Bodydesign in Ghent, Belgium.
Where? The inside of my upper left arm.
Why? This question has been asked a lot. And there's no right answer. First of all, I love my cat. And yes, there will be other pets in the future but I don't think that matters now. And second, I think she's really pretty! You can read more about her here. It may sound silly but she got me through a lot and I genuinely think she's worth a piece of art on my body. And that's simply all that matters.
So that's how it looks right now. Oh and yes it hurt! But I didn't cry so I'm really satisfied with myself actually haha. (I cry really quickly!) Those three hours were totally worth it though, I love it. (My dad is jealous, enough said!) Also, don't be afraid to give your opinion but please don't be rude. Everyone their own, right?

Deleteyaaaay!! congrats! :) it's very cute. love the frame around your kitty. It's suprising how many people ask me about my tatoos, it gets a little old explaining them to everyone all the time, but whatev. I kind of just got them for myself, but they are visible so I guess the questions are inevitable.

DeleteI love it!!! I like where you got it also. I know when I get one it will hurt, but it's only a few hours of your entire life. That's the way I look at it. :) The artist did a great job. I just have to find a good artist to do mine and figure out exactly what I want my whale to look like.

Deletevery cool- i've wanted to get my dog that passed away a couple years ago. she was my baby - i wanted her in a frame but her wearing Victorian clothes! like a funny little hat and a dress. then i would slowly add my other girls (i have 3 dogs currently) and i'd have a gallery of "frames"
