Motivating Monday #21

January 14, 2013

Original Makers Club Journal is a beautiful photoblog and cityguide curating Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati and Brooklyn. I don't want to get my hopes up too much but chances are that I'm actually going to New York in a couple of months so their tips about Brooklyn will definitely come in handy. If only I could take such pictures...

I've made myself a tumblr account about a month ago and I kind of love it. Also, I'm discovering insanely cool accounts. Bookshelf Porn is one of them. As the name might suggest, it's full of pretty bookshelves and library's. I'm an avid bookenthousiast myself and I hope to have an awesome booknook (or even a minilibrary) myself later.

As always, there are lots of pretty goods out there I'm drooling over. I am restricting myself a little bit in my buying behaviour though so it's only looking for now. I'll probably treat myself a bit after my exams though. A-thread has pretty apparal but I'm especially fond of their elegant accessories. Here are some of my favorites.

Some hipster Disney Princesses. (artist)

A sweet tune.

  2. I am from Cincinnati. I don't know if know that or not. Last time I visited I took photos of downtown. It was really fun to do. My entire life that I lived there I NEVER hardly went downtown. It was really fun to photograph the buildings. I hope you get to go to New York! I will be a bit jealous. ;)

  16. The book dome is pretty cool but it does create the problem of trying to get a book from the bottom row :) I also love the 21st century Disney Princess, but I o not think my little girl will recognize them without their gown.
I am following you now and really enjoyed visiting your blog.
I would love for you to follow along.
