20 before 20: what I read

October 14, 2013

One of my 20 before 20 goals was to read a book a month. I didn't exactly read each month but I read more than 12 books in total. I have to admit, a couple of stupid ones, but still. I want to continue this habit the coming year as well! I fell in love with reading all over again. Not everything is pictures because I read a lot of books on my Kindle already, it has proven to be a really good 'investment'.

I'm ranking the books from what I liked most to what I didn't like as much. I'm not putting a lot of info with it or this would've been a really long post but I can always tell you what I thought of it in detail if you really want to know! Also, I'm linking to a website that had international free delivery and it's where I buy all of my books. (So I'm not working with them or anything)

Not pictured because I borrowed it to a friend but you all probably know this book is amazing!

I'm a huge fan of dystopian novels and this series is one of the best I've read so far.

Another dystopian one. Way better than twilight for sure, haha!

Different category (comics) but ofcourse I loved them. I love the tv series as well and I'm so pumped for the new season that just started!

Loved this book but I'm putting it in this place because I found the beginning hard to get through, you really had to wrestle through the first 20 or so pages.

Dystopian series again.. haha! At first I loved it, then I got a little sick of it. Overall a good series though.

This book is such a rage in beautybloggerland but I didn't like it that much, I missed a couple of things. And you know it's non-fiction so it's kind of hard to give it a place.

I just had to read the series because I had to know what everyone was talking about and I have to admit, I didn't think it was too bad! Some parts were a little too much but I enjoyed it.

I read all of the shopaholic books (I think 8?) It's a very easy read for on a train or something like that. I read them in the US when I had only brief moments to read. Books like this can be paused at any time! Still, it amused me from time to time.

Again, an easy read. Not that good though, so I wouldn't recommend it exactly. It was fun to read about tourist hotspots for once!

What was the last (good) book you read? Any recommendations?

  1. Loved Perks of Being a Wallflower...and reading the book before seeing the movie made it so much better.

I'm currently reading a lot, but most actively Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Really good so far!

  3. I quit reading the Walking Dead comics, but I think I'm going to start reading them again. I love the show so much that I stopped reading the comics.
